M&G Insights into Fund Management Afternoon: 18/10/16

This event is for students considering a career in Investment Management – you do not need to study a finance related degree to attend. Please note that M&G will also be holding Insights Days for First Year Undergraduates in spring 2017. If you attended an M&G Insights Event in the 2015/16 academic year we would recommend that you attend an event with different speakers this year.

Starts: 15.00

Finishes: 18.00

The lecture will be led by two of members of M&G who will share their experiences and insights of the financial world. This will be followed by a networking opportunity to give you the chance to meet with further members of staff from M&G and ask any questions you may have.

Aled Smith

Aled joined M&G in December 2000 as a global equity fund manager. He manages the M&G Global Leaders Fund and the M&G American Fund. Before joining M&G, Aled worked at JP Morgan Asset Management for eight years, four of these as a specialist senior analyst for the media sector. Prior to this, Aled was an actuarial consultant for Coopers & Lybrand, and graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford in 1989 with a BA in mathematics and he is a CFA charterholder.

Anjulie Rusius

Anjulie graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Economics in 2007. Anjulie spent five years working in RIsk Management, focused on Counterparty Credit Risk, before moving to the front office as a Fund Manager Assistant. In this role, Anjulie worked on a range of bond funds, assisting 11 fund managers and concentrating much of her time on Europe's largest bond fund, the M&G Optimal Income Fund.
