    Global technology company Dell issued a new bond in 2016 to help it fund the acquisition of EMC, the world’s largest provider of data storage. The new issue was senior secured, attractively-priced relative to other similarly rated firms, and with its strong free cashflow, we believe Dell has the ability to cover interest payments on debt issued. We bought the bond at issue for some of our institutional public debt funds, whose end investors include many pension scheme members.
