Recruitment process

Learn about the M&G recruitment process for apprentices.

As we’re looking for permanent employees, our interview process is comprehensive and includes:

  • Registration: Completing a registration form and uploading your CV
  • Online tests: You will be asked to complete a Situational Strengths Test followed by a Numerical Reasoning Test. Each test should take approximately 20 minutes.
  • A video interview: A one-way online recorded Strengths based interview. You’ll be provided with a link containing full instructions for completing this at the time. You’ll be provided a question, a small amount of preparation time and time to answer the question before moving onto the next. At the end we’ll give you some extra time to discuss anything you’ve not already covered.
  • Face-to-face interview: You’ll then be invited to our offices in London for a competency based interview with the hiring manager and HR representative
  • Final interview: Finally, you’ll be invited to our offices in London to meet other members of the team and for a final competency based interview, which may include a case study or basic test. This will be confirmed prior to your interview date
