    Our application process is online and very easy to follow. Your application will be reviewed by a specialist Resourcing Business Partner who understands the role and will pass on your CV to the hiring manager.

    The interview and assessment process is tailored to each role and can involve a combination of role specific testing, telephone and face-to-face interviews.

  5. 5. Prepare to join

    Once you've accepted our offer, you'll receive a contract and welcome pack, helping you to feel part of the M&G team as soon as possible. You'll have the opportunity to meet your manager and other new employees at our new hire welcome events and on our New Joiners intranet page. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge about the business through our induction programme.

How long does it take to apply online?

It should only take around 10 minutes to apply online.

Who do I contact if I experience issues completing the registration form?

Please email for temporary applications. For permanent vacancy applications, please email referencing the job title and reference number in the subject line and let us know the nature of your issue. If you think it would help to explain the issue please include a screenshot.

What do I do if I have completed all the sections on the form but I cannot submit my application?

If you're experiencing difficulties please email for permanent vacancy applications or for temporary applications.

How can I track the progress of my application?

You can check your status by logging in to your candidate account.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes, you can apply for as many roles you feel are appropriate.

Can I re-apply should I be unsuccessful?

Yes, you can re-apply to any role when it is listed. Please ensure that you re-apply via your previous candidate profile and provide the details of any previous M&G interviews on the registration form.

How can I update/edit any details supplied on my registration form?

Please login as a returning candidate, and select ‘Edit’ next to the relevant job application. You can now edit and update your registration form details. Please ensure that you select ‘Save and Continue’ at the bottom of the page.

My circumstances have changed, how do I remove myself from the application process?

Please login and ‘withdraw’ your application in your candidate account.


Do M&G cover travel expenses?

Not typically, however in exceptional circumstances we may cover travel expenses. Please raise this question upon your first stage interview request.

How many interviews will I have?

The number of interviews will depend on the role requirements as will who you meet as part of the process.

Careers - When can I expect to receive updates on the progress of my application

We review applications as quickly as possible, however we do receive a large number of applications. Candidates will receive an email updating them of any progress at each stage and additionally any status changes will be reflected on your candidate profile. Emails can occasionally be redirected to junk folders, please ensure that:

How long do I have to complete my online tests and/or digital interview?

We ask that you please complete your tests and/or digital interview within 7 days of invitation; unless stated otherwise.

What is your recruitment process?

Once you have applied online and we have received your application, it will be reviewed by our resourcing team or Real Estate Human Resources team. If your application matches our requirements you'll be contacted by them to arrange the next step of the process. Each business area has a tailored selection process, which might include testing and interviews specific to the role.

What if my application is unsuccessful?

Candidates not selected for interview will be notified via email. If you have any questions as to why you have not been successful please contact and we will be happy to discuss.

Who should I contact if I can no longer make it to the scheduled interview or I am delayed en route?

If you are unable to attend or are running late for your interview you should contact the member of the recruitment team who has been your contact during the process as soon as reasonably possible.

Will I be considered for any other positions when applying for a specific position?

Yes, but we would encourage you to apply formally for each role that you would like to be considered for.

Do you consider candidates outside of the immediate geography?

Providing applicants are happy to work in the specified location, we consider candidates from outside of the immediate geography.

Who do I contact if my computer froze while I was attempting to apply?

Log into your profile in PageUp where you will be able to check the status of your application. If the information has been lost then you will need to reapply. If the problem persists then please contact referencing the job title and reference number in the subject line for permanent vacancy applications and for temporary applications.
