Wherever we can, we’re reducing the number of stages and processes it takes to complete day-to-day tasks.

For example, our digital SIPP enables pensions to be completely set up online, including transfers in from other providers. ‘Illustrate and Apply’ feeds information from a pension illustration automatically into a pension application. ‘Sell and Withdraw’ allows investments to be encashed and paid out to clients in a single step.

Making these regular tasks more seamless frees up your team for more value-added activities. Equally, clients will welcome how quickly their plans, including automated drip feed drawdown, are put into action.

2. More self-serve options

We’re increasing what you can see and do online. For example, we introduced ‘Application tracking’ to the platform dashboard, a feature showing the real-time status of your client applications for SIPPs, ISAs, JISAs and GIAs.

All new business client applications are detailed, including paper applications. The tracking feature clearly highlights if any action is required from you, and you can clearly see where individual cases sit in the application journey.

3. Simple and transparent pricing structure

Simple all-in-one platform pricing with no hidden charges means no surprises on cost for you or your clients. Our tiered charging structure (ranging from 0.3% to 0.06% or less) rewards clients as they grow their assets. Our family-linking service (see below) means more family members can benefit from potential cost discounts. 

4. Support more in family groups

We’re making it easier to encourage intergenerational planning to help support your future client pipeline. Family members that can be linked on the platform now include cohabiting partners and step relations, as well as parents, grandparents, spouses, civil partners, children and grandchildren. This is one of the widest-ranging family linking services available – allowing you to support modern and blended families in all their different shapes and sizes.

Family linking allows our platform charges to be calculated on the combined value of a family’s accounts. So potentially more family members can benefit from cost discounts. Smaller investors, such as children and grandchildren with JISAs, may be able to avoid the monthly minimum charge. Ultimately, lower charges mean family members have more money to invest for the future.

5. Investments online

M&G Wealth Platform is the only platform to host the PruFund range of 12 smoothed investment funds. So it’s easy to hold these funds in a platform SIPP, ISA or Junior ISA, and combine them with any other investment option to meet clients’ different needs.
