Last night, we held our inaugural M&G Stars awards event to celebrate the hard work and dedication of M&G employees worldwide.
Hosted at the spectacular RSA House (the Royal Society for Arts) in London, the event recognised those who have made a significant impact on customers, clients, advisers, and communities, while role modelling the behaviours and values outlined in our strategic blueprint.
The event was sponsored by Group Executive Committee members Louise Shield and Matt Howells (both pictured with our winners) and hosted by Chris Cochrane. Our Group Chief Executive, Andrea Rossi, opened the awards, emphasising that our people are at the heart of everything we achieve.
We received nearly 1,300 nominations, and our judging panel of senior leaders reviewed the shortlist to select finalists and winners across eight categories.
It was a night of celebration, highlighting how we bring our purpose to life: giving everyone real confidence to put their money to work.
The winners were:
- Inclusive colleague: Sonia Rajan
- Community champion: Vijay Narayanan
- Sustainability champion: Stuart Burnside
- Customer and client champion: Princy Abraham Madhu
- Rising star: Precious Appiah
- Inspirational colleague: Chloe Tonge
- Outstanding people manager: Michael Bannister
- Best project delivery: Technology – Gurjeet Singh, Will Minchin, Chloe Tonge, Raju Sonawane, Siva Uttarkar, Mark Walsh, Paul Gilmour, Gabriella Currie, Neeta Sane and Jas Gill
Look out for more behind-the-scenes coverage from M&G Stars in the coming days and weeks as we share the individual winners' stories.
A huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners – it was an inspiring evening.
