The Young Tree Champions programme across the UK will give young people the skills and confidence to become advocates for trees and nature.
The programme will raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment through creating mini orchards in inner city schools across the UK.
Co-created with an advisory panel of teachers and young people, Young Tree Champions aims to inspire teachers and young people in some of the most deprived areas to tackle the big issues that affect their future and the future health of their planet.
Curriculum-linked resources and activities hosted on an interactive website is available to all schools across the UK. This offers free teacher training, live online workshops, talking tree trail packs and planted trees.
