The UK withdrew from the EU on Friday 31 January 2020 and the transition period ended on 31 December 2020. There was no specific agreement covering financial services at that time. In July 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which established an ongoing Forum enabling the UK and EU to discuss financial services regulatory matters.
We have been and continue to be in ongoing consultation with the local regulators across the EEA states in order to keep you informed of any changes. At this time, there is no immediate impact to the ongoing servicing of your policy.
