Why PruFund stands out from the crowd

PruFund in a nutshell

Here’s some of the reasons we’re proud of PruFund.

  • Spreads the risk of your investment over a number of different types of investments such as shares, bonds, property and cash.
  • Pools money from all investors – giving you greater buying power and also means you can access investments you couldn't as an individual.
  • Smooths some of the short-term ups and downs of direct stock market investments.
  • Is invested in Prudential’s With-Profits fund, one of the largest With-Profits funds in the UK.

Before making any investment decision, we recommend you first speak to a financial adviser. Our advice arm M&G Wealth Advice can advise you on PruFund and a carefully selected range of products from Prudential and other providers. This is known as restricted advice.

Our range of PruFund funds also aim to avoid harm…

As well as offering a smoothed investment experience, some of our PruFund funds aim to avoid harming the planet whilst looking to provide competitive returns.

When our experts look for places to invest your money, they aim to meet certain criteria. We aim to exclude investments in controversial weapons or gambling, and companies that violate the United Nations Global Compact on human rights and anti-corruption.

They also look at three important factors when considering investments. These are environmental factors, things that help society and companies with robust controls (governance), these are known as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations.

A smooth way to invest your money

  • PruFund gives you access to a wide range of investments, so all of your eggs aren't in one basket.
  • Investment costs are charged but spread over many investors.
  • PruFund uses an established smoothing process, its aim is to smooth the short-term ups and downs of markets. In certain circumstances smoothing may be suspended to protect those in the With-Profits Fund.
  • A choice of funds designed to suit different attitudes to risk and reward.
  • Managed by our experts.
  • Over £58.3bn currently invested*.
  • Available on a range of pensions, drawdowns, investments and ISAs
