How we can help

It’s a common misconception that financial advice is only for the wealthy. In reality, it can benefit everyone. Because after all, money affects everyone.

We can offer financial guidance

Our Customer Service teams are available to provide you with free information that can help you make a more informed decision about your savings and investments. This is known as financial guidance.

They won’t be able to give you recommendations or tell you what might be best for you and your circumstances. This is known as financial advice and is only available through dedicated financial advisers.

Next steps

If you’re making an important financial decision, or thinking about your longer term financial health, then we recommend that you get financial advice.

  • You should speak to your financial adviser if you have one.
  • If you don’t have an adviser, you can search for an independent financial adviser in your area by visiting unbiased.co.uk or by calling them on 0800 023 6868.
  • You could speak to M&G Wealth Advice. Whether it's about financial planning, accessing your pension, making sure you get the most from your tax allowances or protecting your loved ones; whatever your financial goals – we can help.

If you’re 50 or over, we strongly encourage you to use Pension Wise. It’s a free, impartial service by the government-backed MoneyHelper service that offers guidance on all the options available for your pension savings. You can have a free consultation online, over the phone or face-to-face. To book a free appointment call 0800 280 8880 or visit moneyhelper.org.uk/pensionwise
