SignVideo and Relay UK

If you’re deaf, hard of hearing or have speech difficulties SignVideo and Relay UK offer free services that make it easier for you to contact us.
 

  • There’s no additional cost for using these services, you just pay your normal call charges.
  • We’ll never ask you for any passwords you may have set up so please don’t provide them to your SignVideo interpreter or Relay UK assistant.
  • We may monitor or record the calls between us and your interpreter or assistant to help us improve our service and for security purposes.

     

SignVideo

If you’re a deaf or hard of hearing customer whose preferred language is British Sign Language (BSL), you can contact us using a video relay service.

The service, provided by SignVideo, connects you to a fully qualified, registered NRCPD* interpreter who will relay your conversation to a member of our customer service team.

Before you start, check your system is up to date

The service will work as long as your system meets these minimum requirements:

  • Devices: iOS app, Android app, PC or Apple Mac
  • Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox (for Windows), Safari for Mac
  • Webcam (plugged in or built in)
  • Excellent internet speed - for the best experience with SignVideo, we advise having a minimum 2mbps upload and download internet speed.

Relay UK

If you have hearing or speech difficulties you can contact us by phone using the Relay UK national relay service. This service helps deaf, speech impaired and hearing people talk to each other over the phone.

The service is easy to use through the simple Relay UK app on your mobile, tablet or PC. Or if you prefer you can use your Minicom or Uniphone.
