Back Office System Integrations

You can get real-time data linked with your own back office systems (client management systems) for a number of our services.

The services we can provide through available back office systems are:

  • Valuations for pensions and retirement products: we can only offer access to Retirement Account valuations on some of the back office systems we support. We don’t currently support valuations for life products (endowments) or retirement annuity contracts, as well as a small number of bond and pension policies.
  • Valuations for the Prudential ISA:  intelliflo users can access bulk valuations through the ‘Link Group Bulk Valuation' app  - this is available to download from the from the intelliflo store.
  • Adviser commission statements: we offer electronic data interchange (EDI) of adviser commission statements through some back office systems.

We can integrate with a number of industry standard back office systems. The services available depend on the system you use.

Origo Integration Hub

A number of software suppliers integrate with Prudential via the Origo Integration hub to obtain valuations for pensions and investment products. For support, please contact your relevant software supplier.

The PruAdviser Helpdesk can help with queries such as clarifying the format of any specific policy numbers and the linking in of your office postcodes if you have multiple offices that the policies are registered to.

You should make sure that the valuation data you hold is up-to-date, accurate and in the right format. This will help reduce any errors and speed up the online processing of business.

Please ensure:

  • You are the servicing adviser on the policy

  • You have a valid Unipass certificate

  • The FCA number and branch postcode held in your Unipass certificate match the servicing adviser details for the policy

  • The policy number is shown in the correct format (see section below)

  • The policy is still in force

If the contract enquiry message “fails”, you will see a message that clarifies the reason for this. The PruAdviser Helpdesk can help to identify the cause of any failed valuations and can help to solve the problem.

When you set up the integration between your back office system and our services, you will need to provide reference numbers. It’s important that the reference numbers are in the right format.
