Autumn Budget October 2024

31 Oct 24 3 min read

After Labour’s election victory in July, the financial planning community waited with bated breath Rachel Reeves’ first budget statement on Wednesday 30 October.

The Prime Minister had already said the Budget would be painful, those with the broadest shoulders would bear the burden and (as usual) rumours were rife.

Would we see changes to CGT, IHT, Pensions Tax Relief or the IHT treatment of pensions?

There was in fact only one certainty – that M&G Wealth’s award-winning Technical Team would take the pain out of working out what the Budget meant for you and your clients, analysing all the details issued on the day to work out what the impact would be on financial planning.

You can re-watch this event to find out all you need to know.
