Lifetime Allowance - the final final chapter...

21 Nov 24 1 min read

The Lifetime Allowance was officially abolished from the 5th April 2024.

But there were several transitional issues which required further legislative fixes to ensure the new regime operates as intended.

Two new sets of pension regulations came into effect on 18th November 2024 to help finalise things.

Les Cameron (Head of Technical, M&G Wealth)
Mark Devlin (Senior Technical Manager, M&G Wealth)

They looked specifically at the impact of the latest regulations and brought you right up to date with the legislative position and its impact on pension benefit planning.  As usual there was plenty of time for Q&As.
